Terms of Service
Last updated November 2026. These terms apply to all courier and delivery work carried out by Starlight Logistics Ltd.
1. Services
Starlight Logistics Ltd provides collection and delivery services for business customers. Services are booked by phone, email or through an agreed account arrangement, and each booking forms a separate contract on these terms.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are valid for 30 days and assume the volumes, areas and parcel types described to us. Agreed rates apply to work carried out; work outside an agreed rate is quoted before collection.
3. Collections and delivery
Collection and delivery windows are estimates given in good faith. Where a job is time-critical, the required delivery time must be confirmed at booking and will be shown on the job record.
4. Prohibited items
We do not carry cash, bullion, jewellery, firearms, hazardous or illegal goods. Any item that is prohibited by law or unsafe to carry may be refused at collection.
5. Liability
Goods are covered in transit up to the level stated on your account. Higher-value consignments must be declared before collection so the correct cover and handling can be arranged.
6. Invoicing
Account customers are invoiced monthly with payment due within 30 days of the invoice date, unless a different period is agreed in writing.
7. Claims
Claims for loss or damage must be notified within 14 days of the delivery date, with the job reference and any supporting evidence.
